ITATA - GUARILIHUE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe vineyard where our wines originate is\nlocated in Guarilihue, a small and\ncozy part of the world in South Valley\nof Itata. Itata is the most\nancient New World, with vines planted\nfor the first time in 1551.\nThe climate is characterized\nby maritime influence and a high\nannual precipitation (900 mm. on average), and\nthe vines are grown on slopes on old\ngranite floors. They are old vines, rainfed. The\nvineyard is worked manually and the soils are\nplows on horseback, respecting the ancient\nlocal traditions. We are happy to have\nfound this prized vineyard in 2013, and\neven more so to have been able to buy this\nproperty, which allows us to continue with the\ntraditions of the area.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe vineyard is located on Isla de Maipo, in the\nprestigious Maipo Valley. This area used to\nbe surrounded by some of the many\narms that the Maipo River had, hence its name.\nThe vineyards are located in an old bed of\nriver where gravel abounds, which makes the\nsoils are ideal for the varieties\nBordeaux. Along with a Mediterranean climate\nsoft, this provides ideal conditions\nto produce beautiful and harmonious\nexamples of Cabernet Sauvignon and\nCarmen\u00e8re.
